The spark of Born to Bloom began when I was 4 months postpartum and in the private room of my pelvic floor PT’s office engaging in internal work. No, seriously.
As a fellow healthcare worker, my PT and I were discussing the lack of holistic care for women throughout the perinatal period and how the hospital and insurance systems were stifling what should be proactive, holistic and empowering care for women and their babies. I knew there was work to be done…
